Donation & Gift Policy

Kirkland Faith Care Ministry LLC appreciates every individual who chooses to support our ministry and community efforts. Gifts and monetary donations help us pursue our mission of serving individuals, families, youth, seniors, and members of our community through compassionate outreach, encouragement, mentorship, and ministry-focused support. We are grateful for every contribution, regardless of amount.

Voluntary gifts and donations

All gifts and monetary donations made to Kirkland Faith Care Ministry LLC are voluntary. A donation is not required to receive information about our organization, participate in community outreach opportunities, or inquire about our available services. Making a donation does not create an obligation for Kirkland Faith Care Ministry LLC to provide a particular service, product, benefit, or other item of value in exchange for the donation.

How donations may be used

Unless a specific fundraising campaign or purpose is clearly identified at the time of the donation, gifts and donations may be used at the discretion of Kirkland Faith Care Ministry LLC to support legitimate ministry and organizational purposes. This may include, but is not limited to: Community outreach and assistance, youth mentorship and development, senior and community support initiatives, ministry activities and programs, educational and inspirational resources, outreach materials and supplies, administrative and operational expenses necessary to support our mission, and future ministry and community initiatives. When a donor contributes toward a specifically identified campaign or purpose, Kirkland Faith Care Ministry LLC will make reasonable efforts to use those funds consistently with the stated purpose.

Online donations

Kirkland Faith Care Ministry LLC may use Square to securely process online gifts and monetary donations. Square provides the payment-processing technology used to process the transaction. Donation information submitted through the payment process may be processed in accordance with Square's applicable terms and privacy practices. Kirkland Faith Care Ministry LLC does not receive or store complete payment-card information such as a donor's full card number.

Accepted payment methods

Kirkland Faith Care Ministry LLC accepts gifts and monetary donations through secure payment options made available through our payment-processing provider, Square. Depending on the payment options available at checkout, donors may use: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, eligible debit cards, eligible prepaid cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other payment methods made available through Square at checkout. Square determines which payment methods are available for a particular transaction and may add, remove, or change supported payment methods from time to time. Donors should only submit a payment using a card or payment method they are authorized to use. For online donations, payment information is processed through Square's secure payment-processing platform.

Donation amounts

Donors may contribute the amount they voluntarily choose through the available donation options. All donations should be submitted intentionally and with the donor's authorization.

Refunds and reversals

Because gifts and donations are voluntary contributions, donations are generally considered final and are not automatically refundable. However, Kirkland Faith Care Ministry LLC may review refund requests involving: Duplicate transactions, unauthorized transactions, accidental transactions, processing errors, and other circumstances determined appropriate by the ministry. Refund requests should be submitted as soon as possible after the transaction. Where a refund is approved, it will generally be returned through the original payment method when reasonably possible. Please understand that Square's payment-processing fees may not be returned to Kirkland Faith Care Ministry LLC when a transaction is refunded.

Tax-deductibility

Kirkland Faith Care Ministry LLC does not make any representation that a particular gift or donation is tax-deductible. Tax treatment depends on the organization's legal and tax status and applicable federal, state, and local law. Donors are responsible for determining whether their contribution qualifies for any tax deduction and should consult their own tax professional when necessary. If Kirkland Faith Care Ministry LLC provides a donation receipt or acknowledgment, receipt of the acknowledgment does not by itself establish that the contribution is tax-deductible.

Donation receipts

Where appropriate, Kirkland Faith Care Ministry LLC may provide an electronic or written acknowledgment of a donation. Donors should retain their donation confirmation, receipt, or other applicable documentation for their personal records.

Donor information and privacy

Kirkland Faith Care Ministry LLC respects the privacy of individuals who support our organization. Information voluntarily provided when making a donation may be used for purposes such as: Processing and recording the donation, providing a donation acknowledgment or receipt, maintaining appropriate financial records, communicating with donors when appropriate, and meeting applicable legal, accounting, or administrative requirements. No purchase or service exchange

A gift or donation is separate from any paid service offered by Kirkland Faith Care Ministry LLC. A donation does not purchase, reserve, guarantee, or entitle the donor to a service, appointment, product, preferential treatment, or other benefit. Any paid services provided by Kirkland Faith Care Ministry LLC are subject to their own applicable terms, pricing, agreements, and policies.

Unauthorized or fraudulent transactions

If you believe a donation was made without your authorization or you believe a transaction was processed in error, please contact Kirkland Faith Care Ministry LLC as soon as possible. We may request information necessary to identify and investigate the transaction.

Changes to this policy

Kirkland Faith Care Ministry LLC reserves the right to update or modify this Donation & Gift Policy when necessary to reflect changes in our practices, payment-processing procedures, legal requirements, or organizational needs. The most current version will be posted on this website with the effective date shown above.
